This is just a small selection of the photo's we've taken and trails we've ridden. The Tulameen area is rich in historical scenery with the Kettle Valley Railway, the Trans Canada Trail, and the old mining towns of Coalmont & Granite City. Taking your camera is a must as wildlife abounds and the scenery is breathtaking.

Brookmere was once a divisional point for both the KVR and the VV & E ( part of the American Great Northern). Both railroads built a round house and a turntable. Both shared the water tower and the station house. The water tower still stands, some KVR rail remains and the GN station house is a private home.

Andrew McCullogh was the chief engineer for the Kettle Valley Railway. He was not only a brilliant engineer but he had a real passion for Shakespeare, and the stations along the Coquihalla section were named after characters from his plays.
